Incentives include up to $1,500 for new energy-efficient HVAC system heat pumps. This program operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s important to act quickly whenever funding is available. To qualify for a TECH Clean California rebate, new heat pumps must:
- Be installed by a TECH-enrolled contractor
- Meet California’s Title 24 efficiency standards
- Include an AHRI Reference Number or AHRI Certificate
- Be purchased to replace a non-heat pump HVAC system
