Repaired existing furnace whereas another company wanted to replace and also enlarge space that was needed for new furnace. Repairman was bit by spider and had a bad reaction to it . Needed a hospital visit but was nice enough to come back same day
Jon Matson did everything he promised and more. New Condenser, Coil and Thermostat. Repositioned my old furnace and secured it as to slope properly. This was not part of the original project scope but John wanted it done right. Being in construction, I could see they were ethical and did quality work with a very good estimate. Could not recommend a better HVAC Contractor and I will use them for future maintenance. Great Job!
It is an understatement to say we were thoroughly impressed by the entire process of having our central heater replaced along with the installation of a new central air conditioner a few days ago! We had done enough research to know what to look for, and ask relevant questions, but Dave Molina’s thorough explanation of the system and installation process answered our questions before we asked them. The crew, led by Rudy, arrived on time, surveyed the job, and began work in an incredibly swift and organized manner. It was a really hot July day. The attic must have been well over 120 degrees. Yet every crewmember had an excellent attitude, was very courteous, and worked really hard. I consider myself reasonably handy and knowledgeable of home remodeling and such, and was very impressed with the carefulness and professional manner in which everything was done, from running the 220v service from the main panel to the compressor, to the very clean attic installation of the rest of the system. The six man crew worked about 11 hours, finishing the job on the same day they began, and yet instead of leaving the moment they finished, they took the time to talk with us to be sure any questions we had were answered, and that we understood the operation of the thermostat control. And they actually left the house cleaner than when they got there! I very highly recommend Southland Heating and Air Conditioning.

They installed two for me. a Split system downstairs and a package unit on the roof. First I thought the roof unit wasn't working properly (about a month after Installation), and they came that same day but it turns out it was operator error. He was a doll, climbed up on my roof in the pouring rain, just to double check. They didn't even charge me. Then I had them come by about a month after that to adjust the dampers. Once again it was comp. Last month I had to have the down stairs unit removed to repair some flood damage and they were fast and efficient, removed the unit to my covered patio, then reinstalled it after the remediation was done about a week later. I LOVED these guys. If only everyone was this reliable.
